So now what?

The Yanks are done for the season. No October baseball once again…for the first time in a long time.
What’s more depressing: not watching the Yanks in October or knowing that they’re just as upset as I am? This will just be a depressing offseason.
But there’s so much to look forward to! I mean A-Rod will be back woo!!! *sarcasm fully intended* Derek Jeter will be watching from his couch with his super gorgeous model girlfriend *sob*…okay there isn’t a whole lot to look forward to, just a lot to cry about.
I’ll still be watching October baseball. I’ll still keep my eyes glued, rooting against the AL east and praying the Red Sox won’t pull off another “winning season after a losing one” next year.
It’s not the Yankees season, but it surely will be an exciting g postseason nonetheless. The Royals in the playoffs for the first time in 29 years? Can Mike Trout prove he’s all that for the Angels by leading them to a title? Can the Orioles FINALLY show that they are a team to be taken seriously? And can the Dodgers do SOMETHING?? ANYTHING??
Yes, I am bitter about the lack of Yankees offense. Okay, not bitter just pissy. But it’s still the postseason…which means all baseball fans will unite for a month where we prove that baseball is truly the best sport.
Welcome to Yankee-less October. Well, I guess we can’t be there every year. Then again, there’s always next year.
